New version of the regional news webportal newsvo.ru

The new version of newsvo.ru went live in 2016.  

Newsvo is a large-scale project for the Vologda region, Russia. It first appeared in 2005 and has become one of the most well read sources of news for the region citizens since then. According to Yandex.Metrika there are 250 thousand visits and about a million views every month. It contains hundreds of thousands news articles, photos and other mediafiles. 

The design and layout of the new newsvo.ru are smartphone and tablet friendly since 1/3 of the newsvo.ru visitors use small-screen devices to read the news. We did without a fixed left menu this time and transfered all the navigation to the top of the screen. The content field, fonts and photos are bigger now. The main page and the History block are rearranged. The admins got a chance to form the main page by hand the way they want it. 

We are continuing our work on the project and updating it all the time.
